GAME PREPARATIONS
Please resolve any problems that might occur before a match starts. Connection or hardware problems during a match could lead to a disqualification by Arcadous admins. Make sure all players are eligible to play.
NUMBER OF PLAYERS
A participating squad should have 4 players. If a team is missing a player, they can play the game with a disadvantage. In case this squad wins, the missing player will not receive any rewards.
SUBSTITUTE PLAYERS
No substitute players are allowed.
NO SHOW
If a participant from the checked-in squad cannot play at the scheduled start time, his/her team may play the scrim at a disadvantage. In case this said team wins the scrim, the prize pool is distributed only among the players who played the scrim.
Players are allowed to cancel their registration by “quitting the scrim match” before the check-in period starts.
DISCONNECTS
In the case that a player disconnects during a match, the squad is allowed to continue playing the scrim at a disadvantage. In case this squad wins, the missing player will not receive any rewards.
DISQUALIFICATION
To keep Scrims as efficient as possible, Arcadous reserves the right to disqualify players or teams.
This will only be done in cases where a player/team purposefully stalls or attempts to block the scrim from starting or if the team is using any kind of cheats.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
Players are responsible for any technical issue from their side when it comes to hardware or network. Matches will not be rescheduled due to any individual technical issues and the match will be played normally. If a player disconnects, they are allowed to reconnect back into the game. If a player is unable to reconnect, their team is allowed to continue playing with a disadvantage. If technical problems are affecting most players due to any server or Steam issues, the judge will decide on how this will be handled. If 7 players or more are disconnected when starting, the game will be restarted or rescheduled.
REGION AND SERVER
Arcadous currently hosts Scrims in the Middle East and North Africa Regions. All scrim matches are played on the EU server
PROTESTS
If a match was incorrectly reported into our system, your team has 2 hours to protest. Match protests must include media evidence clearly showing the results of the match/series. Teams are responsible for providing proof of match results in case of disputes.
ADMINS
All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the scim match organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is clearly stated. Conversations, either verbal or written, between organizers, admins or referees, and participants are confidential. Publicly posting or sharing these conversations with outside parties is strictly forbidden, unless permission is obtained.
RESULTS
All results will be available on Arcadous website. If anything is unclear, participants should have screenshots available to verify the result and file a protest.
